What do I need to bring with me?

A.

A well fitting snorkel and mask, full length wetsuit is preferable, fins, wetsuit gloves and socks are optional, a swim hat or hood is recommended, a towel, warm clothes and a warm drink.

Where can I park?

A.

Directly opposite the Jubilee Pool open air lido in Penzance is a pay and display car park, there are also free car parking spaces by the Yacht Inn pub and all the way along Penzance promenade.

Is this activity suitable for children?

A.

My snorkel experiences are suitable for anyone that is confident in the water and can swim a minimum of 25 metres in an indoor swimming pool.

Do you have spare masks and snorkels?

A.

Limited spares are available but buying new or using a mask that you are used to is often best for an improved experience visibility wise. Adult and children's Cressi mask and snorkel sets are available to buy through Sessions Surf and Skate shop in Penzance with a 10% discount if you show them proof of your snorkel booking.

Where is Battery Rock? Where do we meet you?

A.

Battery Rock is to the left of the open air lido Jubilee Pool in Penzance just past the Penzance Promenade. There is a small walk way on the outside of the Jubilee Pool white railings adjacent to the sea where I will be stood waiting for you.

Will we being going out into really deep water?

A.

No, the snorkel experiences are low tide experiences designed for beginners or people wanting to practice their skills or gain confidence in sea snorkelling. We will only ever be in a maximum of 10 - 15 ft of water.
