Whilst catching sight of my own reflection in the still mirrored water, I came to think about how fast our lives pass by and how much we miss due to being eternally busy.

I pondered how shocked we are when we find ourselves in the future with no recollection of how we came to be there.

When we are not taking time out to be present in our daily lives, we can often lose sight of our own existence and of who we really are.

Gazing into the water and observing my own reflection I realised that whilst we are busy life is forever escaping us.

Often we hardly recognise the person staring back. We question is that person really me? and how did I come to be here?

Time is only fleeting when you fail to press pause and to make conscious efforts to observe it.

It is not until we really slow down that we can truly capture time.
