Snorkelling Experience

I am a British Sub Aqua Club qualified Snorkel Instructor, Emergency First Aider and registered BSAC Snorkel Centre. Join me at low tide for a memorable Cornish snorkelling experience. This type of snorkel adventure is great for beginners, families and/or children who want to explore the magic of the underwater world in the safety of shallow water.

Snorkelling at low tide often provides enhanced visibility with improved chances of seeing an array of brightly coloured marine life from spider crabs, sea urchins, jellyfish and starfish as well as navigating your way through magical underwater sea lace and kelp forests.

Please see website gallery for more detail.

Your snorkelling experience includes:

•   An introduction to snorkelling

•   Effective use of mask and snorkel

•   Safety briefing

•   Common marine life encounters

•   30 minutes snorkelling

•   An underwater photograph of your experience sent via email.

You will need to be able to swim confidently in open water, have your own wetsuit, mask and a snorkel. Swim fins are not necessary but please bring your own if you are used to using them.

Some spare equipment can be provided. It is advised you bring a small snack, towel, sunscreen and a drink of water. Please note - sessions usually only run from 2 local spots 5 minutes from the heart of Penzance in Cornwall. In both places there are no public toilets nearby. There are some car parking spaces.

There is a maximum of 6 people per snorkelling experience - Cost is £30.00 per person - Family Discounts and 1-1 sessions are available upon request.

Please note All booked experiences will be dependent on tide times, visibility and sea conditions.

Experiences will be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor, wherever possible at least two hours before the scheduled start time, but may be at any time before the start if the conditions worsen. In the event of a cancellation there will be a full refund or a change of date depending on availability.  Low tide snorkelling sites tend to be rocky and/or slippery upon entry to the sea -  it is advisable then to bring old shoes or wetsuit boots with you that have a good amount of grip.

On arrival all participants must read and sign a disclaimer with my terms and conditions attached.

You enter and exit the sea at your own risk.
